To some degree or another, we have all experienced emotional pain in one form or another. However shallow or deeply our pain is rooted is the degree to which our life is affected by it. Though we may not be aware of this, the fact remains that pain is pain and needs healing.
Feelings of rejection and abandonment that accumulate over time can create wounds that hold us hostage to our pain for much longer than its purpose serves. Sometimes our brokenness feels gutteral, but is not always a "bad" thing; rather, with understanding, it signals the beginning of our healing process.
If we can start to look at pain differently, we can begin to understand the underlying fears that prevent us from living the fully joy-filled life that God intends for us to have.
Connect.The.Dots... just as pain and fear are connected, so too are healing and faith. Our healing begins by leaning into the pain and facing the underlying fear that keeps us reliving the pain of our past... over and over, again and again. The same pain recycling itself, only triggered by different people and seemingly unrelated circumstances, though all connected to the single pain that stole the innocence of our soul so very long ago.
So I ask, what is preventing you from...
Moving past the pain of fear and moving toward faith?
Healing the wounds within the heart of your soul?
Fulfilling the purpose God has for you?
Overcoming the fear of your faith?
Investing in your faith's future?
Growing in Spirit and faith?
Living a Lifestyle of Faith?
"The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). John 10:10
Just as we invest in the life of our homes, so too we are called to invest in the future of our faith. The heart of our true home is where God resides within us. Determine to live a lavish lifestyle of faith... by investing in your faith's future... because it is your livelihood.
